Missy Miller is proud to serve as the head of this year’s prom decorations committee. Accomplishments: Choreographer and proud member of the Varsity Song Leaders (Go Chipmunks!), leader of the PTA-Student Friendship committee, founder of the ‘Chipmunks For A Better America’ Highway Beautification Committee, T.A. for Mr. Lee’s 4th Period Choir Class, winner of this year’s ‘Home Ec Sewing Bee,” and columnist for The Chipmunk Chronicle (‘Missy’s Crafty Corner’). Missy also made most of the refreshments for tonight’s prom. She’s honored and just a bit nervous to be nominated for prom queen along with all of her best friends, the Wonderettes. Apricot is her favorite color. And her favorite fruit.

Cindy Lou Huffington is proud to be the prettiest girl at Springfield High School. Accomplishments: Longest-serving member of the Varsity Song Leaders (3rd Place State Champions), president of the drama boosters, student editor of the school newspaper The Chipmunk Chronicle, vice president of the yearbook committee. She loves dancing, cheering, singing, drive-in movies, and boys (not in that order). Platform: World Peace. Quote: “I hope to shatter the pre-conceived image of prom queen and, when chosen, will use my intelligence, poise, grace and beauty to bring happiness to those who are less fortunate than I.” Pink is her favorite color.




CHRISTINA DECICCO (Cindy Lou): Off-Broadway debut.  She was recently seen as Glinda in the National Tour of Wicked. She just finished performing the role of Elmire in Dog Run Repertory’s production of Moliere’s Tartuffe at South Street Seaport.  Regionally she was seen as Eponine in Les Miserables (Barrymore Award Winner), Maria in West Side Story, Hope in Urinetown, Belle in Beauty and the Beast, Annie Oakley in Annie Get Your Gun and Maria Elena in Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story. Betty Jean Reynolds is proud to have a date for the prom, and she can’t believe that Johnny finally got the nerve to ask her. Accomplishments: Member of the Varsity Song Leaders (where she won ‘Loudest Cheer’ at State Championships), all-time high-score on the Chipmunk Bowling Squad (“255 – only 45 more to go!”), member of the Varsity Lady Golfers, loves watching & cheering for the Chipmunk Wrestlers, the Chipmunk Boating Club, the Chipmunk Soccer Shooters, and well, she’s just an all-around proud athletic supporter. Quote: “I’m up for prom queen? That’s about the coolest thing EVER! Cindy Lou’s gonna bust a gut…” Green is her favorite color.




LINDSAY MENDEZ (Betty Jean): Lindsay most recently appeared in Everyday Rapture at 2nd Stage Theater, as a “Mennonette” to Sherie Rene Scott.  She was an original cast member of the recent Broadway Revival of Grease, playing the role of Jan.  Regional/Tour credits include: Footloose (Sacramento Music Circus, Kansas City Starlight), Princesses (NAMT, Goodspeed Opera House, 5th Avenue Theater), Grease, (European Tour, Fulton Opera House), Call Me Madam (Reprise!), Go the Distance, The Lyrics of David Zippel (Jazz at Lincoln Center, Kaufman Center).  Lindsay’s also the lead singer of the cover band, Limbsakimbo.  www.lindsaymendez.net

Suzy Simpson is proud to be going steady – three years and counting (“I love you, Richie!”). Accomplishments: Proud member and assistant choreographer of the Varsity Song Leaders (Go Chipmunks!), grand-champion bubble blower at last year’s state fair (“Can you believe it?!”), cub reporter for The Chipmunk Chronicle (where she exposed last year’s lunch room milk scandal), and president of the A.V. Club Appreciation Society. Suzy loves dressing up, and having friends over to play records in her basement rec room. She’s very good with scissors and glue, and helped Missy put together all of the decorations and banners for tonight’s prom. Quote: “L-O-V-E-That-Spells-Love!” Blue is her most favoritest color ever.




KIRSTEN BRACKEN (Suzy):  Broadway: Hairspray (Lou Ann, u/s Amber) Other NY: Gemini: The Musical (NYMF); Life in Plastic (American Theater of Actors).  Regional:  Created the role of Flame in the World Premier of Minsky’s at the Ahmanson Theater.  Other Regional:  Thoroughly Modern Millie (Millie); A Chorus Line (Maggie); Annie Get Your Gun (Winnie Tate); Beauty and The Beast (Babette).  Kirsten performs as a soloist with symphonies across the country under the direction of Maestros Erich Kunzel and Steve Reineke.  TV:  All My Children.  Kirsten is a proud graduate of Carnegie Mellon University.  Thank you to my family for their countless blessing.  For my fiancée, Matt!

LESLIE SPENCER SMITH (Understudy): Leslie is thrilled to be making her Off-B’way debut.  Regional: “Marge” in Breaking Up is Hard to Do, The Marvelous Wonderettes, “Abigail Adams” in 1776, “Pattie” in Smokey Joe's Cafe and “Cinderella” in Into the Woods.  Favorite roles: “Miss Adelaide” in Guys and Dolls, “Polly Baker” in Crazy for You, “Marta” in Company!, “Fanny Brice” in Funny Girl and “Verges” in Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing.  Leslie is a vocalist in the Grammy-award winning BRIAN SETZER ORCHESTRA.  She has toured the U.S. and Japan with the band.  TV appearances include “The TODAY Show,” “Late Night with Conan O'Brien,” “The Rachael Ray Show” and “Dancing With the Stars.”  Heartfelt thanks to Roger, David and Bets.  All my love to Charlie, whose support, encouragement and excitement means everything.
