Missy Miller is proud to serve as the head of this year’s prom decorations committee. Accomplishments: Choreographer and proud member of the Varsity Song Leaders (Go Chipmunks!), leader of the PTA-Student Friendship committee, founder of the ‘Chipmunks For A Better America’ Highway Beautification Committee, T.A. for Mr. Lee’s 4th Period Choir Class, winner of this year’s ‘Home Ec Sewing Bee,” and columnist for The Chipmunk Chronicle (‘Missy’s Crafty Corner’). Missy also made most of the refreshments for tonight’s prom. She’s honored and just a bit nervous to be nominated for prom queen along with all of her best friends, the Wonderettes. COURTNEY BALAN (Missy) fell in love with 50s and 60s music as a kid after getting a complete set of golden oldies tapes from the local Shell station (free with 50 gallons of gas). Cindy Lou Huffington is proud to be the prettiest girl at Springfield High School. Accomplishments: Longest-serving member of the Varsity Song Leaders (3rd Place State Champions), president of the drama boosters, student editor of the school newspaper The Chipmunk Chronicle, vice president of the yearbook committee. She loves dancing, cheering, singing, drive-in movies, and boys (not in that order). Platform: World Peace. CHRISTINA DECICCO (Cindy Lou): Off-Broadway debut. She was recently seen as Glinda in the National Tour of Wicked. She just finished performing the role of Elmire in Dog Run Repertory’s production of Moliere’s Tartuffe at South Street Seaport. Regionally she was seen as Eponine in Les Miserables (Barrymore Award Winner), Maria in West Side Story, Hope in Urinetown, Belle in Beauty and the Beast, Annie Oakley in Annie Get Your Gun and Maria Elena in Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story. Betty Jean Reynolds is proud to have a date for the prom, and she cant believe that Johnny finally got the nerve to ask her. Accomplishments: Member of the Varsity Song Leaders (where she won Loudest Cheer at State Championships), all-time high-score on the Chipmunk Bowling Squad (255 only 45 more to go!), member of the Varsity Lady Golfers, loves watching & cheering for the Chipmunk Wrestlers, the Chipmunk Boating Club, the Chipmunk Soccer Shooters, and well, shes just an all-around proud athletic supporter. LINDSAY MENDEZ (Betty Jean): Lindsay most recently appeared in Everyday Rapture at 2nd Stage Theater, as a “Mennonette” to Sherie Rene Scott. She was an original cast member of the recent Broadway Revival of Grease, playing the role of Jan. Suzy Simpson is proud to be going steady three years and counting (“I love you, Richie!”). Accomplishments: Proud member and assistant choreographer of the Varsity Song Leaders (Go Chipmunks!), grand-champion bubble blower at last year’s state fair (“Can you believe it?!”), cub reporter for The Chipmunk Chronicle (where she exposed last year’s lunch room milk scandal), and president of the A.V. Club Appreciation Society. Suzy loves dressing up, and having friends over to play records in her basement rec room. She’s very good with scissors and glue, and helped Missy put together all of the decorations and banners for tonight’s prom. Quote: “L-O-V-E-That-Spells-Love!” Blue is her most favoritest color ever.
